Venue Book presents you with a hand selection of unique and exciting venue spaces that complement seasonal parties. Our theme throughout this post is to showcase some of our medium-sized venue spaces holding between 150-300 guests. Our team has built up connections with the following event spaces and alongside our ‘little black’ event book of diverse and unique suppliers we intend to create an unforgettable event that surpasses all your guests’ expectations.
Spring Venues: Treehouse Hotel & The Ham Yard Hotel
Spring is the season for team building, corporate incentive trips and sometimes office launches. Our handpicked venues compliment both. Two unique venues we are exploring at this time of the year are ‘The Nest’ at the Treehouse Hotel and ‘The Roof Terrace’ at The Ham Yard Hotel. Both these venues highlight the importance of having a contingency in place at this time of year. The English weather really is unpredictable. These spaces combine indoor and outdoor spaces creating a perfect setting for a spring party.
Summer Venues: Royal College of Physicians & Vinegar Yard
The season of Summer Parties; which Venue Book is known to do so well. Listing two of our favourite venues that allow our delegates to be outside enjoying British summer weather and cocktails. The Event Book will handle everything from entertainment and production to venue liaison. Complementing the venue space with summer DJs and lots more. The following are this week’s venue of choice, ‘Royal College of Physicians Medicine Garden’ and ‘Vinegar Yard Mezzanine’.
Open-air mezzanine areas and Garden areas are perfect for outdoor events. They have potential to bring in your own awnings or can be complemented with air-conditioned rooms to escape the English June heat. ‘The Royal College of Physicians’ has a beautiful medicinal garden with a gin bar located within it. Options for breakout rooms and learning about medicine in plants is also available as part of the event should your company be interested in this.
Autumn Venues: Hoxton Arches & The Dilly
Autumn is the season of new product launches, summer parties that are rewarding employees after a season of big events.
Bring the outdoors indoors despite the weather in the light-filled Terrace at ‘The Dilly’. Filled with natural light and views over the central London skyline, with vibrant Piccadilly below. The light and botanical nature of this space gives you the flexibility for multiple set-ups, with connecting outdoor space perfect for drinks with a view. The terrace works well with an opportunity to use the outdoor space alongside the indoor terrace spaces. It is also a good option for a budget friendly corporate reception.
Autumn also has the potential for less bright weather, so we have chosen to highlight ‘The Hoxton Arches’. This space is a very quirky blank canvas with the possibility of using outdoor space with food trucks, equally using conjoined arches for a product launch or shoot allowing your guests to feel underground exploring the space and different bars. Everything is possible in a venue like this.
Christmas Party Venues: The Waldorf Hotel & Nobu Hotel
With Christmas enquiries already in full flow, our team is underway with some exciting end-to-end event management projects. Venues are filling their diaries up quickly; however, we have selected two venues which are exciting prospects for your Christmas celebration. Our team also has great connections with these venues to make your planning process seamless.
‘The Palm Court’ at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel is an amazing space that can be transformed into a reception area that leads into the Adelphi 1-3. With the help of The Event Book managers, we can put on an evening to remember with exciting production and entertainment to leave your guests wowed just take a look at our most recent event at The Waldorf.
There is also an opportunity to use ‘The Ballroom’ at Nobu this Christmas. It is a great blank canvas to make your own. Its unique selling point is the LED screen wall which can be transformed with project mapping, the use of colours or anything else that will help make your event pop, whether it is themed; casino to masquerade to comedy show or a celebration of the companies’ yearly achievements.
